I was in between Vietnam and Thailand and, why not, I visited another UNESCO monument, the Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
I landed in Siem Reap a small town very close to Angkor Wat and once there I realized that Angkor Was is not a single temple but it’s rather a huge area full of temples, an amazing area where you can stay for three days in a row and never visit the same temple.

I rented a tuk-tuk (this is how they call the rickshaws) for 15 USD for all day and the kind driver took me from temple to temple until I was ok and ready for a dinner downtown.
As I said, the area is amazing but my favorite temple was Angkor Thom, the one where many scenes of the movie Tomb Raider were shoot.
Arriving here is very easy, Siem Reap is one of the international airports where you can ask for the Visa on arrival (check you local Embassy or Consulate !) and for 30 USD and 20 minutes time a very nice and kind officer will work out the Visa for you.
