94 countries and counting
I’ve finally put my travels on a map — and the number currently stands at 94 countries out of 257.
That number comes with a small confession: in a few places, I’ve technically only landed there. But there are only a handful of those, so I’m claiming them. 🙂
The latest addition to the map is Mongolia, which takes the count to 94.
And yes, I’m old enough to have visited a country that no longer exists. Yugoslavia is on the list — a nice reminder that maps, borders and countries can change quite a bit over a lifetime.
There are still a lot of blank spaces on my map, which is probably the best part. 94 is a milestone, not a destination.
